How to reach Pacentro
Our space is on Vico I San Francesco - it is accessible by a small, pedestrian-only alleyway. You can find the alleyway from the two main streets– Via San Francesco or Via San Marco. For access with no stairs, enter down Via San Francesco and turn left. To enter from Via San Marco, go down the arched staircase and turn right. We are number 15.
Can I arrive by train?
The closest train station is Sulmona; from here you can catch regional trains direct to and from Rome or towards Pescara and the coast. It is not walking distance to the town centre (about a 2 hour walk uphill, 8 km depending on the route) but it is a quick 15 minute drive.
You can catch the TUA bus up (it departs from the station Monday - Saturday and takes about 30 minutes to reach Pacentro, the last stop, in the piazza). Tickets are sold at the bar in the station or via the local bus app — which is also the most reliable source for the schedule, note that Google does not always get this right!
Otherwise, contact the local taxi driver (+39 389 169 5093).
