A three hour workshop exploring the natural plant dyes and beeswax.
Join us in the setteuarciate studio to study the batik process with Chiara of CasaChora and beekeeper, Mia LaRocca.
Batik is a method that uses beeswax to create reliefs on textiles. We will work with beeswax harvested from Mia’s apiary in the Majella.
Chiara is an artist that works predominantly with natural pigments and plant dyes. We will be using indigo (Indigofera tinctoria) to create our own.
For more information and to reserve your spot, please email setteuarciate@gmail.com or DM @mialarocca on Instagram.
Space is limited. Guests leave with the textile that they created during the workshop.
